We are seeking a licensed Optician to join our team at our Kanata location. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional vision care and customer service. A valid Ontario Optician license is required.
Duties include:
- Deliver customer service that focuses on the customer's unique vision needs and lifestyle requirements
- Stay current with eyewear fashion trends and product knowledge
- Provide professional customer service and personalized frame styling recommendations
- Take measurements for fitting of eyewear and perform adjustments as needed
- Sales and payment processing including insurance billing
- Dispense eyewear and contact lenses according to prescription specifications
- Create lab orders for customer purchases and follow up on order status
- Administrative duties including appointment scheduling and inventory management
Qualifications:
- Current Ontario Opticians licence required
- Minimum 2 years of optical retail experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
