Fleet Technician / Apprentice Mechanic

Our growing landscape maintenance, construction, snow and ice management company is searching for a Fleet Technician / Apprentice Mechanic to help take our fleet and maintenance program to the next level.
Whether you're a licensed 310S or 310T Technician, an apprentice, or an experienced shop technician with strong mechanical skills, we'd like to meet you.
This is more than just fixing equipment. You'll play a key role in keeping our crews operating safely and efficiently while helping build the systems and organization that support a modern, growing company.
Compensation
$50,000-$95,000 annually
Compensation will be based on experience, licensing, and qualifications.

Schedule
Monday-Friday
7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Some on-call availability is required during the winter snow season.
This is a salaried position.
What You'll Work On
Our fleet includes:
- Pickup trucks
- Trailers
- Skid steers
- Wheel loaders
- Excavators
- Tractors
- Zero-turn mowers
- Small engine equipment
- Snow plows and attachments
- Salt spreaders
- Liquid de-icing equipment
No two days are the same.
Responsibilities
You'll help manage and maintain every aspect of our fleet, including:
- Preventative maintenance
- Diagnostics and repairs
- Hydraulic systems
- Diesel and gasoline engines
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Seasonal fleet changeovers
- Shop organization
- Parts inventory
- Equipment inspections
- Annual Safety Inspections
- MTO inspections
- Equipment cleaning and preparation
- Emergency repairs during winter operations
- Working with operators to identify concerns before they become breakdowns
- Assisting with fleet improvements and equipment upgrades
QualificationsLicensed Mechanics
- 310S or 310T Licence
- Minimum three years of experience preferred
Experienced Shop Technicians
We also welcome experienced technicians who may not be licensed but have strong mechanical abilities and are looking to continue building their career.
Nice to Have
- AZ, DZ or G licence
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Hydraulic systems knowledge
- Diesel engine experience
- Electrical diagnostics
- Small engine repair
- CVOR knowledge
- Annual Safety Inspection certification
- MTO inspection experience
- Computer skills for maintenance records
