Position Overview:
Wyngit Delivery Inc. is hiring dependable Owner Operator Drivers in Victoria to support our growing delivery operations over the holiday season. We’re offering both full-time and part-time routes, with consistent daily work available and the potential for ongoing opportunities after the season ends.
Each driver will manage a set delivery route, typically starting around 8 am and finishing by approximately 1 p.m on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You’ll pick up from a designated loadout point and make deliveries.
If you enjoy being on the road, have your own insured vehicle, and can work independently, this is a great opportunity to earn steady income through the holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and organize packages in your vehicle for quick access
- Follow delivery instructions accurately and ensure on-time drops
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Wyngit professionally
- Use a smartphone delivery app to scan and record deliveries
- Communicate promptly with the Wyngit operations team to resolve issues or report exceptions
Requirements:
- Start time typically 8am. for 4 to 5-hour shifts
- Available for 3 days a week (part-time)
- Own a cargo van (ideal) or large SUV – sedans and smaller vehicles are not suitable
- Delivery insurance through ICBC (Class 13 Delivery Use with $5,000,000 liability coverage)
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check (takes approximately 1 day)
- Smartphone with active data plan
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
