Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including gluten free item, cheese cakes, pastries, loafs, muffins, cruffins, croissants following quality standards.
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using cake decorating techniques
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
- Package finished products for retail or catering purposes, ensuring proper presentation and freshness
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions about our offerings.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
Skills
- Proven experience in cake decorating and baking techniques
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food products safely and hygienically at all times
- Experience with kitchen equipment, baking tools, and packaging materials
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail for decorating and presentation tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
