Landscape Labourer – Gardens & Landscape Maintenance
Worry Free Landscapes is looking for a hardworking, reliable Landscape Labourer to join our growing team. This position is primarily focused on garden maintenance and landscape renovation projects, with occasional opportunities to assist our lawn maintenance crews when operationally required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Garden bed maintenance including weeding, cultivating, and cleanup
- Pruning shrubs, hedges, and small trees
- Edging garden beds, sidewalks, and curbs
- Mulch installation
- Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Landscape renovation projects including removals, grading, and installations
- Spring and fall property cleanups
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting lawn maintenance crews during peak periods or to cover team absences
- Completing daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence or Québec Class 5 licence required
- Reliable transportation to and from our office each day
- Comfortable driving company work trucks (returned to the yard each day)
- Proficient in the safe operation, daily maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of commercial landscaping equipment, including string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, chainsaws, and other gas-powered landscape equipment
- Experience towing utility or equipment trailers is an asset
- Experience operating tractors, skid steers, mini excavators, or other landscape equipment is an asset
- Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work outdoors in hot weather
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous commercial landscaping or garden maintenance experience preferred

- Potential for year-round employment by joining our winter operations team as a snow tractor operator or snow plow operator, based on performance and operational needs.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- Overtime available during peak seasons
