Kingston Heart Clinic is a well-established, full-service cardiology outpatient clinic in the heart of Kingston. We are currently looking for an RN to join our medical team, support our patients, and clinic flow. Responsibilities:
· Administer and prepare patients for physician assessment
· Explain testing procedures to patients and complete required documentation
· Assist with cardiac testing
· Input/update patient medications and information in EMR
· Medication administration as per established clinic protocols
· Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patient’s condition
· Ordering of medical supplies and clinic supplies as well as inventory management
· Maintaining of equipment
· Attend educational training as provided (CME, BLS, ACLS, conferences, etc.).
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
· Attention to detail
· Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Patient confidentiality guidelines
· Positive, friendly, caring, and professional demeanor at all times
· Experience in cardiology setting would be an asset, yet not a requirement
