Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, preparing quotations, processing orders, and helping customers select the right stone, brick, and masonry products for their projects. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email.
- Provide product information and recommendations for stone, brick, and landscaping materials.
- Prepare quotes, estimates, and sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process customer orders and coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to generate new business.
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, landscapers, and retail customers.
- Work closely with yard staff and management to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory inquiries and product availability.
- Keep customer records and sales information up to date.
- Support showroom and yard merchandising as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous sales, customer service, or construction-materials experience preferred.
- Knowledge of stone, brick, masonry, landscaping, or building products is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using computers, email, and sales/order-entry software.
- Ability to read project plans and material takeoffs is an asset.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
