Territory Manager - Foodservice sales - ONT WEST

Gastronomia is a Canadian leader in premium gourmet frozen foods, helping chefs and foodservice operators create exceptional culinary experiences. We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Territory Manager to grow our Foodservice sales across Ontario West.
This is a field-based sales role for someone who enjoys being on the road, developing new business, and creating lasting relationships with chefs, restaurant operators, distributors, and key accounts.
What you'll be doing
· Develop new business while growing existing customer and distributor relationships throughout Ontario West (Mississauga, Burlington, Hamilton, KW, Niagara Falls, London, Windsor).
· Conduct daily customer visit with chefs, restaurant operators, distributors, and strategic accounts.
· Prepare samples, bake, and present products for customer presentations.
· Manage distributor partnerships and work closely with their sales teams to drive sales growth and increase market share.
· Represent Gastronomia at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
· Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends to drive territory growth.
· Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunities, and sales pipeline in the CRM.
· Collaborate with the sales team to execute sales initiatives and achieve territory objectives.
What you’ll need:
· Live in the GTA West region/Markham/Burlington/Hamilton area ideally.
· Have a reliable vehicle in good condition and valid driver’s license to travel throughout Ontario West.
· Able to store frozen product samples in a home freezer (supplied).
· Are comfortable transporting, baking and presenting products.
· Enjoy being on the road most days of the week.

· Has excellent organizational skills and thrives in an autonomous work environment.
Qualifications
· University degree in a related field (Sales, Business or equivalent).
· Minimum 5 years of business development and sales management experience, preferably in Foodservice.
· Strong knowledge of Foodservice distribution and restaurant operations.
· Hands-on culinary experience is a strong asset.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
· Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
· Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and communication tools.
· Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and highly organized.
· Ability to store and transport frozen product samples and prepare them for customer presentations.
· Second language is an asset.
