Mainline Excavator Operator – Water & Sewer Division
$24 - $35 an hour

We are seeking a Mainline Excavator Operator to support the Water & Sewer Division. The successful applicant will possess a strong-proven skillset of equipment operating skills that includes excavators, loaders, skid steers and other heavy civil construction equipment. Applicants must have experience operating excavators in variety of water and sewer construction environments.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can adapt to changing site conditions, work collaboratively with crews, and think critically to solve problems in real time.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate excavator equipment in a wide array of heavy civil construction environments.
- Work with pipelayer and other labouring staff to expose existing infrastructure.
- Safely operate and execute tasks in the water and sewer environment.
- Comply with company safety policies.
- Basic maintenance & repair of equipment.
- Complete daily circle checks and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Qualification Requirements
- Valid a valid driver's license.
- Have a strong work ethic and thrive in a team environment.
- Have strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor new staff.
Preferred Skill:
- 5 years of experience operating excavators in water and sewer construction.

Additional Notes:
- Saskatoon based, but able to travel on occasion.

- Overtime after 8hrs/day and/or 40hrs/week
