Availability Required: Monday–Friday, various shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Start Date: Immediate – successful candidate must be available to start within the next week
We are looking for a professional, energetic, and highly organized Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) / Clinical Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting both the clinical and administrative sides.
The ideal candidate is confident working directly with patients, has excellent communication and customer service skills, and can comfortably manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chiropractors and physiotherapists with patient care and treatment delivery
- Set up patients and assist with therapeutic modalities and clinical equipment
- Support the flow of patients through the clinic while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment
- Assist with front-desk responsibilities, including patient scheduling, appointment management, billing, and payment processing
- Maintain accurate patient information and electronic documentation
- Assist with Extended Healthcare Benefit direct billing
- Communicate professionally with patients, clinicians, insurance providers, and other members of the healthcare team
- Help maintain clean, organized, and treatment-ready clinical areas
- Provide exceptional customer service at every patient interaction
Experience & Skills We Would Love to See
Experience in a physiotherapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, or multidisciplinary healthcare setting is preferred.
The following experience would be considered a significant asset:
- Laser Therapy
- Shockwave Therapy
- Jane App, including electronic charting, scheduling, and billing
- Direct billing to Extended Healthcare Benefits providers

Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available Monday through Friday and able to work various shifts scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Some Saturday mornings may be required as well.
The successful candidate must also be available to start within the next week.
The ability and willingness to work at our Waterloo, Kitchener, and Cambridge locations when necessary is a strong asset.
