Pay: $32 to $40 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a manufacturing team in Richmond, BC. This is a hands-on opportunity for a skilled welder looking for a temporary position with strong potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Perform TIG welding, fitting, setup, and layout of raw and formed metal.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
- Clean, grind, and finish welds using standard welding tools and equipment.
- Inspect welds for quality and repair weldments as required.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Support production and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding certification or at least 3 years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior TIG welding experience is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic tolerances.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using standard welding and metal fabrication tools.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a production environment.
