A Bread Affair is a certified organic artisan bakery located on Granville Island and Langley. Rooted in community, agriculture, and the Pacific coast, our baking reflects the unique combination of soil, climate, and craft that defines Vancouver. We are not a French bakery or an Italian bakery. We are of this place, Vancouver.
Our work is grounded in West Coast values: sustainability, responsible sourcing, and certified organic ingredients. We stand against industrial food production, GMOs, and factory farming, and support humane and ethical practices in everything we do.
We believe food should be personal. Every loaf and pastry is made by hand each day, connecting our customers to local farmers, our community, and the land.

A Bread Affair is looking for a part-time Bakery Production Workers to join our amazing Production Team here in Langley!
We are seeking a Bakery Production Worker & Oven Baker in a commercial bakery setting. You will play a key role in our daily production of artisan breads , helping to maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bread dough preparation, shaping, and baking
- Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- Proof and bake breads according to standard
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are met in the production area
- Work collaboratively with other production staff to meet daily targets
- Lift and move ingredients and trays (up to 25kg as needed)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a bakery production environment
- Proficient in using Commercial Ovens
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team setting
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Food Safe certification is an asset
