Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hook Lift Bin Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting our bins from construction sites to local C&D facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all transportation regulations.
Duties
- Operate hook lift truck Ford F-750.
- Operate truck in tight areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Loading bins when required
- Operate hydraulic handles and equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Perform basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
Experience
- Proven experience in bin truck driving with a valid class 3 drivers license
- Familiarity with freight handling and logistics operations.
- Experience in automotive repair is a plus, enhancing the ability to maintain vehicle performance.
- Clean drivers abstract
- Fluency in English language (reading, writing and speaking)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining logs and reports.
