Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tank Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and professionalism. Duties
- Safely operate various types of trucks, including large commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport goods to designated locations efficiently while maintaining timely delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load and unload cargo, which may involve heavy lifting and the use of proper lifting techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for compliance purposes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during transit
- Follow company policies on safety procedures, route planning, and vehicle maintenance
- Assist in routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Strong driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Prior experience with tanking is advantageous
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules or routes
This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safe driving practices, have First aid, H2S alive, whimis, TDG and CSO certificates. Candidates should be comfortable and possess the necessary driving skills to operate large vehicles confidently.
Pay: $5,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
