Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Go Kart-Pit Marshal/Head Marshal/Track Marshal to ensure the safety, organization, and smooth operation of our go-kart track. This role involves overseeing race activities, engaging with guests, and maintaining a fun and secure environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for guest service, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the go-kart track during racing sessions to ensure safety protocols are followed by all participants.
- Assist guests with check-in, ticketing, and providing instructions for race procedures.
- Enforce safety rules and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies on the track.
- Manage race start and finish procedures, including timing and order of participants.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service and guest support.
- Handle cash transactions accurately for ticket sales or merchandise as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pit area and surrounding facilities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests through clear public speaking when necessary.
- Support food service or hospitality functions as required, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a supervisory or engaging capacity preferred.
- Strong public speaking skills to communicate rules, instructions, and safety information confidently.
- Excellent customer service and guest relations skills to create an enjoyable experience for visitors.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, demonstrating comfort in guest-facing roles.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and respond quickly during busy times.
