About Us: Mountainview Systems Ltd. (MVS) has been a trusted provider of specialized products, rentals, and services to the construction industry for over 30 years. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Branch Manager & Inside Sales Representative to lead operations and drive growth at our Saskatoon branch.
Position Overview: This is a dual-functioning leadership and sales role. You will be the senior face of inside sales and showroom rentals while managing day-to-day branch logistics, inventory procurement, local staff supervision, and site safety. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic leader with a strong sales background who is equally comfortable managing office administration and overseeing warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service Leadership
- Act as the inside sales representative, providing exemplary service, quoting, and fulfilling orders for equipment sales and rentals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing construction clients.
- Drive business development through prospecting, account management, and following up on client satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales floor, ensuring inventory is professionally presented and promoted.
Branch Operations & Administration
- Manage day-to-day office administration, business cycles, and logistics to achieve revenue and gross margin targets.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable/Receivable to assist with collections, monitor client credit limits, and inspect purchased products for accuracy and quality.
- Supervise branch personnel, including inside sales, technicians, and warehouse/yard workers.
- Ensure the branch is fully operational during business hours and coordinate emergency after-hours customer assistance as needed.
Inventory & Warehouse Oversight
- Manage accurate inventory records, coordinate purchasing plans, and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Oversee warehouse and yard logistics, ensuring physical shipping/receiving documentation matches the accounting system.
- Coordinate local courier services and transfers between MVS locations, vendors, and clients.
Health & Safety Program
- Serve as the key leader for the branch Health & Safety program, driving hazard identification and control.
- Conduct documented facility inspections, weekly safety meetings, emergency drills, and ensure a safe site environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 + years of successful sales, rental, or procurement experience (heavy equipment or construction industry experience is highly preferred).
- Education: Business degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Navision (Dynamics NAV) or related enterprise accounting software is a strong asset.
- Licensing: Must possess a Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Certifications: Forklift Counterbalance certification/experience is preferred. WHMIS, First Aid, and Hazard Identification certifications are strong assets.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically capable of sitting at a desk for periods of time, as well as lifting up to 50 lbs and operating warehouse equipment when required.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
