Residential JM Electrician Position
Start Date: September
Compensation: $21.64–$43.27/hour, based on experience (1st-year Apprentice to Journeyman).
Location: Headquartered in SE Calgary, with service areas covering Calgary and regions within a 20-minute drive, including Rocky View, MD of Foothills, and Mountain View.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a dedicated Residential/Light Commercial 4th year or above Electrician to join our close-knit team. The position involves approximately 75% residential and 25% commercial work, including installations and troubleshooting service calls. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a lasting impact in a smaller company, with opportunities to grow and potentially earn an ownership stake.
Who Should Not Apply:
· Industrial Electricians or those focused on PLC work (our scope is residential/light commercial only).
· Candidates expecting Fire Alarm or Heavy Commercial projects (these are outside our current focus).
· Individuals planning to leave a critical role at their current employer without proper notice (we prioritize professional integrity).
· Applicants with less than 4th-year apprentice training (a baseline of credentials is required).
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial clients.
· Mentor an apprentice as part of a two-person crew on many assignments.
· Use your own vehicle to travel to 1–3 job sites daily (mileage reimbursement provided).
· Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently during service calls.

Requirements & Valued Skills
· Strong experience in residential electrical work is a significant advantage.
· Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (vehicles with ample cargo space are preferred).
· Skilled at using a smartphone to send emails consistently with photo attachments for record-keeping purposes.
· Ability to work solo or lead a team, with keen attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
