Class 1 Commercial Truck Driver
Who we are:
MXL Express is a locally owned courier and hotshot transportation company. MXL Express provides courier and on-demand hot shot transportation services for Canada’s oil and gas, mining and construction industries in and around Edmonton, Alberta and other provinces. We are currently looking for a Class 1 Commercial Truck Driver for our Edmonton location.
Details:
· Working hours are Monday to Friday Daytime
· Occasional nights & weekend driving work
· Full-time, long-term employment opportunity
Summary of Duties:
· Drive a company tractor trailer for local and provincial deliveries
· Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments
· Perform truck/trailer inspection reports using ELD Titan GPS flatform.
· Maintain cleanliness and organized issued company vehicle
· Perform other duties as required by manager
Requirements:
· Must held Class 1 driver’s license minimum of 3 years - required
· Minimum 3 years experience driving 53’ flat deck and 53' enclosed dry van - Experience is required
· Experience hauling oil and gas equipment, HVAC Equipment, wide loads
· 3 years Class 1 driving experience is required.
· Clean commercial driving abstract is required
· Must be able to work on call for nights & weekends -required
