RefugeeRoot was established with a mission to provide care and support to children and communities in need, driven by a sense of love, compassion, and a commitment to environmental sustainability. What started as a way to help people in need has grown into a mission to build long-lasting, useful solutions that protect, feed and restore dignity.
Responsibilities
- The leadership and implementation of the organisation's creative content strategy across social media, website content and digital campaigns.
- Plan, shoot, edit, and organize the activity photos and videos content of the project's activities.
- ·Collaborate with team members to help grow the organisation's online presence and drive traffic.
- Management and growth of social media channels through the use of engaging content, campaigns, contests, giveaways and local community-focused initiatives.
Qualifications Required
- Significant know-how in content creation, videography, photography, social media administration and innovative marketing.
- Understands branding, storytelling, getting people interested, and modern social media trends really well.
- Skilled with professional camera equipment, editing software, and content production workflows — drone experience is a bonus.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative team environment is required, as well as being self-motivated and organised.
