Reporting into the Project Manager, the Technical Lead is responsible for supporting and driving the precise technical delivery of the Pape SOE Project. This role plays a critical part in the Engineering Department and works closely with designers, subcontractors, and the client .
You will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex Support of Excavation (SOE), underpinning, and temporary works across multiple zones while managing a team of technical coordinators. As a key representative for GIP, you will oversee the interface between design and construction, ensuring engineering excellence and providing expert leadership in high-level technical and commercial discussions.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Engineer with strong leadership capability, deep technical knowledge in underground/structural works, and the confidence to represent GIP in high-level technical and commercial discussions.
Act as GIP’s technical authority on SOE, strutting, walers, underpinning, and temporary works.
Oversee design development, review, and coordination with Engineers of Record (EOR), specialty designers, and internal teams.
Client & Stakeholder Interface
10+ years experience in heavy civil, underground structures, transit, or major infrastructure projects.
Expected Base Salary: $120,000-$170,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
