Position Overview:
Rego Construction is looking for a physically fit and experienced Concrete Working foreman skilled in all aspect of concrete work to join our team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in tackling new challenges, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete flat work, including forming, rebar installation, pouring, and finishing.
- Saw cut, grind, chip, patch, mix, and finish concrete.
- Install vapor barriers, and expansion joints.
- Place, screed, float, and finish concrete for residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure concrete is level and meets grade/depth specifications.
- Conduct concrete repairs and build/strip formwork.
- Use general hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Operate or assist with heavy equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators.
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues to the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete work.
- Ability to read and interpret plans.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Clean criminal record; secret security clearance required and provided
- Canadian Citizen; required for secret security clearance
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift at least 100 lbs.
- Willingness to work long hours and in all weather conditions year round.
- AZ/AR/DZ drivers license (asset not requirement).
