Pilot Car Dispatcher
Full-Time | JNB Heavy Haul
JNB Heavy Haul is looking for a pilot car dispatcher to join our team coordinating in house pilots for specialized heavy haul and oversize loads across North America.
This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. No two days are the same.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the central communication point between in-house pilots and dispatch
- Schedule and assign in house pilots while maximizing efficiency
- Review licensing & training for all in house pilots
- Process and manage pilot car miles for each trip
- Ensure in-house pilots are properly equipped before dispatch
- Assist in recruiting/selection of new pilots to the JNB team
- Maintain in-house pilot schedules, including vacation tracking
- Coordinate maintenance scheduling for in-house pilot vehicles
- Work with dispatch systems and office software (email, Excel, Word, PDF platforms)
- Contribute to a high-accountability, fast-moving dispatch environment
