Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated elementary teachers or teachers specializing in Math, Technology Education, and Art to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching diverse student populations, including those with special needs or disabilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students, foster creativity, and develop essential skills in a dynamic learning environment. Candidates should possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs. Bilingual abilities in English and Arabic are highly desirable to support our diverse student body.
We are also looking for part time casual substitute teachers to join our private school. This position requires prior experience teaching students in elementary and/or secondary school levels.
Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Math, Tech Ed, or Art that align with curriculum standards
- Incorporate technology tools such as Google Workspace into lesson plans to enhance learning experiences
- Provide tutoring and individualized support to students requiring additional assistance
- Assess student progress through assignments and assessments; maintain accurate records of performance
- Adapt teaching strategies for students with special education needs or disabilities
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a respectful learning atmosphere
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and technological advancements
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience teaching Math, Tech Ed, or Art at various grade levels
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies for diverse learners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; computer skills essential for integrating technology into lessons
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Arabic are a plus
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special education needs
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds and foster an inclusive classroom environment
- Strong writing skills for lesson planning, student feedback, and professional documentation
- Time management skills to balance instructional duties with administrative tasks
