Job Overview
Located in Central Alberta, Air Spray (1967) Ltd. is an Aerial Fire Suppression company which has been operating throughout Canada for nearly 60 years. With approximately 30 aircraft in the fleet, we proudly protect local communities and forests from wildfire across Canada, and beyond.
We are currently seeking a dedicated, full-time Engine Shop Technician to complete regular inspections, maintenance and/or repair of engines as assigned to them.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, adjust, modify, test, identify problems and repair aircraft engines
- Disassemble, clean and install components
- Work with specialized aviation and power tools, computers and diagnostic equipment
- Keep timely and accurate records of the repair and maintenance activities
- Carefully observe all procedures, rules and regulations when performing any task
- Be thoroughly familiar with, and put to use, safety procedures and safe work practices
- Maintain a clean and productive work area
- Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Preferable, Gas Turbine Technician Certificate
- A mechanical aptitude, knowledge and experience
- Be proficient in English, written and spoken
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
