Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations before service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely preparation
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory, food prep, and kitchen cleaning duties
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
- Help maintain a positive and efficient work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Safe Level 1 certification is an asset
