De Boer Tool is a family owned and operated business. You will have the opportunity to work along side and be further trained by a great crew of experienced operators and programmers.
Positions Details:
- Setup, and operation of a variety of state-of-the-art 5 & 7 axis Walter cnc grinders.
- Offline truing of grinding wheels
- Perform first off and in process inspection using a variety of hand held measuring tools and cnc inspection machines.
- Work with other team members and management to continually improve processes and grinding methods.
Experience:
- 1 year or more experience operating a Walter tool and cutter grinder or similar machine.
- Understanding and operation of tool studio or comparable cad/cam software.
- Reading and understanding drawings, process sheets & standard operating procedures
- Use of measuring tools including Vernier, micrometer, height gauge etc.
