Walk in Comfort is a locally owned and operated business that has served Vancouver Island communities for almost 30 years. With five stores conveniently located in Hillside, Mayfair, Downtown Victoria, Sidney, and Duncan, comfortable shoes that don’t compromise on style are easily accessible. The salesperson we are looking for……is an outgoing, enthusiastic, multitasking, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, goal-oriented individual. It sounds like a lot; but, if this best describes you – we should talk!
The salesperson position involves the following tasks (all of which will have training provided):
· Professional and engaging customer service: A large portion of our customer base is repeat clientele. We want someone who can navigate discussions easily and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on what is discussed.
· Computer and bank machine usage: Our company has a frequent buyer plan program that rewards customers that are loyal shoppers. A small amount of data entry, as well as anything having to do with processing the sale through the computer and bank machine, will be a part of your day.
· Stock: There will be a small amount of stock work involved. We work as a team to keep the inventory neat, tidy and organized.
· Merchandising / cleaning / organization: All store personnel are expected to contribute in creating visually pleasing displays that promote customers interest in the products. Organized, tidy stores make for a more enjoyable environment for both employees and customers.
What we as Walk in Comfort offer you:
ü Training: We will provide comprehensive training in order to ensure your success with us.
ü Wages: $17.85/hr with 2% commission. Top earners can earn over $20/hr.
ü Perks: Certain shoes have monetary incentives attached to the sale.
This position includes working evenings and weekends.
