Arrowhead Landscaping is looking for a hard-working part-time/full-time landscaping and lawn care service operator for the remainder of summer season, who is available to work between three to four days per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing landscaping and lawn care services, directly alongside the owner, in SW/NW Calgary and Rocky View County. The typical/regular start time is 8:00am, and the end of the working day varies between 3:00pm to 6:00pm on most working days. The candidate will be responsible for getting to work using their own vehicle, for the regular start time of 8:00am. The other job posting information is as follows:
Contract Term: , IMMEDIATE to October 31st, 2026 - option to extend contract past October 31st, 2026 on a full-time basis into the winter snow removal season.
Regular Shift Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm; working days may start earlier from time-to-time, as needed, and finish later from time-to-time as needed.
Days per week: We are looking to hire for a part-time/full-time role (3-5 days per week).
Compensation: Hourly: $22.00 per hour, plus overtime pay for any full hours worked over 8.00 in one day and 44.00 in any week (Alberta Standard). Plus, one $250.00 allowance, during the term, for vision care, dental care, and other health and fitness benefits.
Must be able to meet in the Crestmont/Valley Ridge area at 8:00am on all work days.
Must be able to maintain and operate various landscaping equipment - lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, wheelbarrows, and other various landscaping tools. All equipment will be instructed on for use. Must be able to lift 60 pounds unassisted, and be able to operate wheelbarrows under heavy load as needed unassisted.
Must have a Valid Class-5 Drivers license
Successful candidate may have a minimum of 1-year experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or exterior work, with a preference for an applicant who has previous snow removal or lawn care experience. The successful candidate must be able to complete the entire contract period and be able to commit to the regular shift hours and occasional on-call nature of the service.
