AboutFace is seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Camp Outreach Coordinator to help strengthen access to inclusive summer camp and recreation opportunities for children and youth with facial differences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with existing and prospective summer camps and recreation providers.
- Support outreach efforts to develop and strengthen community partnerships.
- Coordinate logistics for camp inclusion training sessions.
- Assist with scheduling and preparation for camp visits and meetings.
- Maintain records related to camp partnerships, bursaries, and outreach activities.
- Collect feedback from camp staff and community partners.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support equitable access to recreation programs.
- Communicate professionally with families, camp staff, and community organizations.
- Conceptualize a plan for reaching more potential families
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with community partners and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online communication tools.
- Interest in recreation, youth services, nonprofit organizations, or community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Gain:

Requirements:
Student must be currently enrolled in a secondary, or post-secondary institution or within six months of graduation and have reached the age of 15 upon commencement of employment.
Proof of student enrolment must be provided.
Student must be a resident of Ontario during the period of employment.
Student must be eligible to work in Canada and have a Social Insurance Number (SIN).
Students should be living in Ontario at the time they start work.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
