Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious, driven individual to join our team as an Insurance Broker Apprentice. This is an opportunity to launch a rewarding career in insurance sales while building your own book of business from day one.
You will step into an established referral network with a steady flow of qualified prospects, allowing you to begin working with clients immediately. Your role will focus on helping individuals and businesses find the right home, auto, and commercial insurance solutions while developing the skills needed to become a successful broker.
No prior insurance experience is required. We provide full training, mentorship, and a proven step-by-step process to support your growth in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and help them find the best coverage solutions.
- Compare quotes and coverage options from multiple insurance companies to recommend the right balance of protection and value.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships through excellent communication, trust, and ongoing service.
- Use brokerage systems and insurance platforms to prepare quotes, present solutions, and manage client files.
- Manage your time effectively while handling new inquiries, following up with prospects, and learning the sales process.
- Work toward personal sales goals by delivering a strong client experience and generating referrals through your growing network.
Qualifications
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and build a successful career in insurance sales.
- Willingness to step outside your comfort zone and confidently engage in client conversations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine desire to help people find the right solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work full-time with flexibility in scheduling.
- Willingness to train and work from our Oakville office.
No insurance experience is required. We are looking for the right attitude, work ethic, and commitment to success—we will provide the training and support.
