Working on a complexity team, assisting teachers, administration, and support staff to support clusters of students with a range of learning needs.
- Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
Duties

Main focus on providing academic, behavioural, and organizational support in classrooms and small group settings

Supporting groups of students who require additional assistance
-
Reinforcing literacy and numeracy skills under the direction of a teacher
-
helping students understand instructions, complete assignments, and remain organized
-
Supporting student engagement , independence, and positive classroom behaviour
-
Monitoring student progress and sharing relevant information with teachers
-
Building positive relationships with students
-
Responding flexibility to changing student needs throughout the school year
Qualifications and/or Assets:
- Experience supporting students and children with academic and behavioral needs would be considered an asset
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
- Ability to support literacy and numeracy

Ability to demonstrate patience, a calm demeanor, and comfortability supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Willingness to work in an active, team orientated and collaborative learning environment
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
