As a Skilled Labourer on a Keller site, you will report directly to the Superintendent and play an important role in supporting the site team and carpenters throughout the project. Your responsibilities will include assisting with framing, finishing, concrete work, housekeeping, material handling, and general site support.
Responsibilities:
- Concrete formwork
- Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames
- Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
- Working, leveling, and packing gravel
- Operate Mobile Equipment safely
- Accountable for following Keller and client safety requirements and practices
- Work closely and communicate with the Superintendent on a regular basis to ensure your site operates smoothly
- Maintain a visible and engaged presence on the site and act as a leader in safety
- Ensure work site is kept clean and orderly
- Work efficiently, responsibly, and professionally and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders and employees on site
- Perform general labour on-site as needed
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in commercial construction
- Current AWP, Fall Arrest, First Aid are assets
- Certifications in operating mobile equipment is an asset
- Retail Petroleum construction experience and knowledge of POST is an asset
