White Eagle Lodge Ltd. is an Indigenous‑led home care and medical home care organization serving clients across the Edmonton Zone. We provide culturally grounded, Elder‑centered care and work closely with AHS Case Managers, hospitals, and community partners.
Position Summary
The Client & Staff Recruitment Coordinator / AHS Liaison leads client recruitment, manages referral pathways, and builds strong relationships with AHS Case Managers, Team Leads, hospital discharge planners, and Indigenous partners. This role also oversees recruitment and onboarding of HCAs, LPNs, and RNs to support White Eagle Lodge’s expanding home care and medical home care programs.
Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BN/BScN) and deep familiarity with AHS Home Care, Continuing Care Access (CCA), referral workflows, and Edmonton Zone service areas.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong relationships with AHS Case Managers, Team Leads, and hospital discharge planners
- Manage new client referrals, intake, and onboarding
- Attend case conferences and liaise with AHS Home Care and Medical Home Care
- Recruit HCAs, LPNs, and RNs
- Maintain staffing pools and coordinate onboarding
- Represent White Eagle Lodge at community and Indigenous partnership meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Nursing (BN/BScN)
- Active CARNA/CRNA registration (or eligibility)
- Experience with AHS Home Care or Continuing Care Access
- Knowledge of referral workflows and Edmonton Zone service areas
- Experience in recruitment or HR coordination (asset)
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultural safety and community protocols
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
