Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team!
This role involves assembling, fitting and installing pre-fabricated parts to create finished mechanical products such as engines, farming equipment and machinery. In this role, you will need to read technical diagrams to align, fasten and calibrate components using hand/power tools and automated equipment.
The ideal candidate will have previous background in mechanical assembly, familiarity with schematics and experience working with various tools and equipment. Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings to assemble mechanical parts accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools and machining equipment to assemble components according to specifications
- Operate forklift and overhead crane safely when required for material handling
- Measure parts with calipers and other precision tools to ensure proper fit & function
- Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area throughout the assembly process
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Assist in troubleshooting assembly issues and suggest improvements for efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing and/or assembly environments is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics & technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and machining tools
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Familiarity with calipers and other measurement tools for quality control
- Prior experience with machining, or mechanical assembly is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
