Yomee Foods Inc. is bringing a brand-new hospitality concept to Uptown Saint John with Yoramen × Yomee Tea.
Our restaurant combines authentic Japanese ramen, handcrafted drinks, premium desserts, Japanese-inspired cocktails, and modern dining experiences under one roof. More than just a restaurant, we are building a stylish and energetic social space where people gather to eat, relax, connect, and enjoy great hospitality.
We are looking for outgoing, professional, and passionate team members who want to grow with a modern hospitality brand from the ground up.
Position: Server / Bartender
As part of our front-of-house team, you will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional hospitality, positive energy, and attention to detail. This role combines restaurant serving and bartending responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
We are seeking individuals who enjoy interacting with people, thrive in busy environments, and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food, tea drinks, cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages efficiently and professionally
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and bar areas
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and recommendations
- Support team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and food safety standards
- Assist with opening, closing, and resetting duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, café, bar, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
- Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Basic cash handling and POS knowledge preferred
- Responsible, reliable, and punctual
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
