STUDIO STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing Remarkable customer service. This is key!
Greeting customers with a smile, and explaining the "how it works" of our studio
Operating cash register and our studio's point of sale software
Instructing customers on the use of painting studio materials and techniques
Wrapping and bagging pottery for customer pick up
Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work environment
Preparing and glazing pieces for firing
Loading and unloading the kilns

1. Experience with front-line customer service
2. Experience working with children
3. Experience following systems and procedures
4. Hands-on ‘tetris-type” visualizing skills & good spatial awareness
5. Neat and clear handwriting with good spelling and accuracy
We are looking for people who can commit to…
1. Arriving on time with reliable transportation to Blue Mountain Village
2. Being ready and available to work all of their scheduled hours
3. Completing their season (or contract) in full
4. Participating enthusiastically within a co-operative team
*Please Note: Although our studio is a calm and relaxing environment for our painters, this job is a physically active and fast-paced role that involves light lifting, lots of standing, walking, and physical movement.
