Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT & Media Coordinator to support and enhance our organization's technology infrastructure and media operations. This role involves providing technical support, managing computer networks, and ensuring seamless media integration across various platforms. Provide technical support and media management to House of Mercy International Church programs, events and activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure optimal performance of IT systems and media services.
Duties
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO)
- Manage and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Develop and implement social media and digital media strategies
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content for various digital platforms, including websites and social media
- Assist users with desktop support tasks such as software troubleshooting, operating system issues, and peripheral device setup.
- Maintain and monitor network security protocols to safeguard organizational data.
- Support media operations by managing digital content, streaming services, and multimedia equipment.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Document procedures and create user guides for common technical tasks to improve overall support quality.
- Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing
- Analyze and report on social media metrics and campaign performance to drive improvements.
Experience
- Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on desktop support, network management, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, and firewall management.
- Proficiency in using ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems for incident management.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques for common applications like Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience supporting media technology including digital content management or multimedia equipment is a plus.

- Meet Canada Summer Job requirements such as must be a Canadian citizen, permanent reisence of a protected person, and between age 15-30
