We are seeking a high-performing Operations Manager for British Columbia to lead critical field-level audits and workforce evaluations across our national operations. This role will play a key part in maintaining compliance, replenishing talent pipelines, and ensuring consistent service quality across regions.
Position Overview
This is a critical and pivotal role in our Company, one that requires operational knowledge, experience, commitment to our purpose, and loyalty, amongst other attributes.
Your primary responsibility will be to fully support the Director of Operations and the executive leadership team in ensuring operational efficiency across our organization. In terms of operational accountability, this means the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular employee performance audits and evaluations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, service standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support workforce planning efforts by assessing talent quality and identifying development needs
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all audits, assessments, and findings
- Represent corporate interests in the field, acting as a conduit between executive leadership and local operations
- Travel as needed
- Administer and oversee TrackTik operations;
- Work in coordination with, and report to, the Director of Operations;
- Participating in efforts of recruiting, hiring, training, quality assurance, managing, and terminating employees as needed;
- Corresponding with clients and their management teams
- Visit site locations frequently and as needed or as directed by managing partners; and other tasks as assigned and required by the Company.
- Profit Margin review and oversight
- Filling holes in regions (i.e manager resigns, OM steps in)
- Succession planning for regions (pipeline)
- Recruiting Liaison
- Head Office Client relation building
- Attend monthly meetings with Senior Leadership Team
- Attend weekly meetings with National Director
- Lead weekly regional operations meetings
- Escalating RM/DM performance issues to National Director including action plans for resolution
- Interdepartmental coordination, activating resources from departments like Client Services, Scheduling etc when needed
- KPI oversight and tracking for both clients and internal operations
- Subcontractor Approval in coordination with National Compliance Manager
- New contract launch accountability and coordination
- CS Feedback accountability ensuring all feedback emails are responded to in the designated timeframes
Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in physical security, operations, compliance, or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of field operations and security workforce management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently across provinces.
- Valid driver’s license and clear criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with provincial security regulations and compliance standards.
