We are looking for a full-time professional Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team. As a locally owned brokerage we are committed to providing excellent customer service and expert advice, fostering lasting relationships that retain existing clients and attract new ones. This position is an in office position and not remote
Here Is What a Typical Day Looks Like
- You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
- Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
- You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
- Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
- Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business
What you’ll do:
- Service existing clients
- Write new business
- Utilize technology to do your work, stay organized and keep good documentation
- Work and collaborate with a team of brokers
What we’re looking for:
- Level 1 General Insurance Licence
- Personal lines insurance experience – writing new business and servicing existing clients.
- Experience with Epic, Applied Rating services, and company portals is an asset.
- A knowledgeable insurance broker who has excellent communication skills, provides expert advice, values customer service, is adaptable and committed to continuous learning.
- Insurance experience is an asset but we will train the right candidate.

Competitive salary, benefits, and time-off. Salary range noted is the starting range depending on experience. Guaranteed Salary to start and growing in to a commission position. The position is capable of earning much more as your book of business grows.
