Our client, a large Canadian retailer, is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support end-to-end supply chain operations within a case goods/occasional category. This role is ideal for a data-driven supply chain professional with experience in inventory optimization, forecasting, logistics, and procurement.
Analyze inventory on hand and on order to optimize stock flow across the warehouse network.
Monitor demand forecasts and support inventory planning to reduce stockouts and overstocks.
Plan purchases and distribution to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers on production schedules and shipping timelines.
Work with suppliers and stores to resolve inventory issues and support customer satisfaction.
Assist in maintaining and improving supply chain reporting tools, dashboards, and ERP data.
Identify supply chain risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of Canadian retail supply chain experience in forecasting, purchasing, inventory optimization, logistics, or procurement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP.
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
Knowledge of container freight and logistics is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
