Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Cook menu items with precision, following recipes and presentation standards to deliver quality dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Support the team by serving guests promptly and courteously, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety standards is a plus.
- Experience in serving guests or working in a fast-paced environment will help you excel in this role.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently under pressure is essential.
