Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Aides to provide exceptional support and assistance to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care and working with individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia. This role involves delivering medications to patients ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Prior experience in caregiving environments is preferred, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocol
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Follow all safety procedures protocols diligently
Requirements
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred; experience with senior care, disabilities, or dementia care is a plus
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
- Valid class 5 driving license with a car
- Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving skills
- Strong communication skills and patience when working with residents of varying needs
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
