Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in their private homes. Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
- Support individuals with disabilities, dementia, or hospice needs through personalized care plans
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a hygienic environment
- Help with light physical activities or exercises to promote mobility and well-being
- Document care provided and report any changes in condition to healthcare professionals or supervisors
- Assist with transportation to appointments or activities as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
Candidate Must have a European background (preferably Italian or from Slovenia)
- Prior experience in home care, or senior care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support safely
- Strong caregiving skills combined with compassion and patience
- Basic understanding of medication administration and meal preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Certification or training in caregiving or related fields
- Ideal Candidate must have a vehicle
