Beyond Physiotherapy is seeking a friendly Physiotherapy Clinic Administrator.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Educate patients on clinic policies, services, and appointment details.
- Appointment Management:
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling while optimizing schedules.
- Coordinate with therapists and other clinic staff to manage appointment changes.
- Billing and Payment Processing:
- Process patient payments, insurance claims, and assist with billing inquiries.
- Verify patient insurance information and explain coverage details as necessary.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient billing information.
- Clinic Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area.
- Perform regular cleaning duties, such as wiping surfaces, organizing magazines, and tidying up patient areas.
- Ensure treatment rooms are stocked, clean, and presentable before and after appointments.
- Laundry and Supplies:
- Manage clinic laundry, ensuring fresh linens and towels are available in treatment rooms.
- Regularly launder and restock linens, towels, and other necessary items.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for front desk supplies and clinic materials.
- Place orders for office and clinical supplies as needed and assist in inventory organization.
- Coordinate with clinic management to track and organize medical supplies, linens, and other essential materials.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with clinical staff to communicate patient arrivals and status updates.
- Send reminders and follow-up calls for appointments and pending documentation.
- Help address patient concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical office administration are a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, ideally in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in JANE APP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Hours:
Full-time or part-time, with flexibility to work during clinic operating hours, including some evenings or weekends as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
