Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Kitchen Cabinets Cabinetry Drafter/Design Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the design and drafting process for custom cabinetry projects, ensuring accurate technical drawings, and assisting with client presentations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 2020,Sketch-up, drafting, and construction-related design, with a passion for kitchen cabinetry and interior design. Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings of kitchen cabinetry layouts using software such as SketchUp, 2020.
- Assist in developing schematic designs and technical schematics for custom cabinetry projects.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate client ideas into precise construction documents.
- Support the preparation of presentation materials, including renderings and visualizations.
- Review project plans for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
- Maintain organized digital files of drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
- Stay updated on industry standards, materials, and emerging CAD technologies relevant to cabinetry design.
Experience
- Proven experience with 2020,SketchUp, or similar programs.
- Familiarity with construction processes, schematics, and technical drawing standards.
- Prior experience in cabinetry design or interior design is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of 2D animation or visualization techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction principles related to cabinetry and interior spaces.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical schematics accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
