Electric Juice Factory makes the best fresh-frozen smoothies and juices in Canada, and we are hiring! We seek a detail-oriented and hardworking Manufacturing Assistant to join our team. It's a fast-paced and COLD production environment. We need people with strength and stamina to work at a fast pace in a refrigerated room.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our delicious premium plant-based products meet highest standards of quality and our processes strictly adhere to food safety regulations.
This position requires mechanical aptitude, WILLINGNESS TO LEARN, and a can-do attitude.
We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Clean work areas and equipment
- Follow recipes
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and product measurements.
- Use equipment while following all safety protocols and guidelines within the food processing environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Move, prep, measure, wash, mix, store ingredients and products according to directions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or food processing is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical capacity and ability to operate production machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Certification is required but can be achieved after hiring.
- Math skills for accurate measurement and inventory tracking.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
