As a Poolside attendant, you will provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests enjoying our outdoor pool area, ensuring every guest receives an outstanding experience.
This is a Full time Seasonal position.
Starting in July ending in October.
32-40 hours per week.

Hours of work:
Monday – Sunday 11am – 6:30pm
Reporting to: Flex Manager
Requirements
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Smart Serve certification
- Valid CPR and First aid level C certification
- Must be legal age to serve alcohol
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of food and beverage service
- Hospitality or Hotel Management education is considered an asset
Food & Beverage Service
- Provide professional, friendly, and timely food and beverage service to guests in the outdoor pool and cabana area.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu items, daily features, beverage offerings.
- Make recommendations and identify opportunities to upsell food, beverages, and retail merchandise.
- Process beverage and food sales accurately and efficiently.
- Refill beverage coolers and restock product displays as required.
- Maintain service stations and ensure all areas are properly stocked and organized
Guest Service
- Greet guests entering the outdoor pool area in a friendly and professional manner.
- Verify pool wristbands and daily access codes.
- Answer guest questions regarding hotel amenities, Fitness Studio services, and general property information.
- Interact with guests in a positive and engaging manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate with the Flex Welcome Partner regarding guest check-in and pool capacity updates.
Pool Operations & Safety
- Assist the Lifeguard on duty with pool and hot tub capacity counts.
- Help communicate and enforce pool rules, safety regulations, and facility policies.
- Monitor for prohibited items, including glass containers and outside food or beverages.
- Report guest concerns, safety issues, incidents, damages, or maintenance concerns immediately to the Leader on Duty.
- Ensure the outdoor pool area remains safe, welcoming, and guest-ready throughout the shift.
Facility Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Set up and maintain dining, cabana, and pool service areas to Brookstreet standards.
- Collect used towels throughout the shift and restock towel stations as required.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of towels and guest amenities.
- Clean and maintain the pool deck, sundeck, lounge chairs, tables, cabanas, and surrounding areas.
- Monitor washroom conditions and report cleanliness or maintenance concerns.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in front-of-house, back-of-house, and pool service areas.
- Follow all departmental standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with fellow partners and other departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist team members as needed during busy periods.
- Promote and embody Brookstreet's SPICIER culture in all interactions with guests and fellow partners.
