Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Job to start Late August 2026
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods using excellent time management skills
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
- Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is beneficial for success in this role
