Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders across diverse patient populations. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises to support ongoing improvement.
- Document all assessments, treatments, and progress notes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in case management activities to ensure seamless patient care transitions across departments or facilities.
Experience
- Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, particularly within acute care settings.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a strong plus.
- Proven background in patient care with a focus on speech and language therapy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to healthcare environments.

Pay: $40.00 per hour
