Northwind Heating Ltd. The Fireplace Showroom is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in maintaining and repairing heating and cooling systems, Tankless and storage water heaters and fireplaces. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Maintain, and repair furnaces, AC's & HP's, Water heaters, Fireplaces and HRV's in residential settings.
- Troubleshoot issues related to heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC units.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC installations.
- Ability to build, maintain, plumb, weld, and repair various types of HVAC equipment.
- Experience with appliance repair is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must have B Ticket
